Tenant Motion to Void an Eviction Order
Paid the rent after receiving an eviction order? You may be able to stop the eviction—permanently.
If the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) issued an eviction order due to non-payment of rent, and you’ve since paid the full amount owing (including any applicable fees), you may be eligible to file a Motion to Void the Eviction Order.
Unlike a Motion to Set Aside, which cancels the order and schedules a new hearing, a Motion to Void can completely nullify the eviction order, no hearing needed.
At Haider Khan Legal, we’ve successfully helped tenants void eviction orders. We act quickly, thoroughly, and strategically to keep you in your home. Our fee for completing and filing this motion is currently $450.00 + HST.
