Steps and Fees

Step 1: Contact Our Office Via Phone or Email

Our intake staff will take a brief description of your matter to determine whether we can help. Then, according to your availability, we will schedule you in for a consultation. You may choose to have an in-person consultation or remote/virtual (via phone, google meets or zoom) consultation.

Step 4: Onboarding

If you decide to move forward with our services, we will prepare a formal retainer agreement that outlines the scope of representation, associated fees, and the mutual responsibilities of our working relationship. Once the agreement is signed and the retainer deposit or flat fee is received, we will request any relevant documents required for your matter. These may be submitted to us in hard copy or electronically. Upon receipt, we will begin work on your case.

Step 2: Prepare for your Consultation

We endeavour to provide you with the most thorough and comprehensive consultation possible. The standard length of a consultation is 15-30 minutes. Please have your relevant documents printed or on a USB stick if your consultation is in person. If your consultation is remote/virtual, please be prepared to share the relevant documents via email or screen-share. Please also have your government-issued ID ready for verification purposes.

Step 3: The Consultation

This is a no-obligation consultation. You can expect a thoughtful and thorough recommendation for your legal matter with complete clarity on pricing, so you can make an informed decision.
